Cancer Services at UMC
University Medical Center is working in partnership with the Arizona Cancer Center to provide complete cancer therapy and treatment to Arizonans and others stricken by cancer.
The Arizona Cancer Center, the state's premier National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, is located next to UMC in Tucson. The Center has research and education offices distributed throughout the state and 250 physician and scientist members working to prevent and cure cancer. UMC Cancer Clinic Locations
All locations provide comprehensive oncology services and access to clinical trials through the Arizona Cancer Center, as well as volunteers and social work treatments.
Volunteers support patients undergoing chemotherapy and social work treatments such as Reiki (Reiki Sharing Group, Reiki May Help Modern-Day Healing and Reiki Radio Talk Show with UMC Radiation Oncology social worker), reflexology, healing touch, shiatsu and massage.
The Healing Spirit Boutique at the UMC North location also offers volunteer positions.
